Well, folks, that just about wraps up our inaugural story here at Agitainment.Comics, the grand re-presentation of THE GRYPHON, Rick’s very first published comic story. Be sure to come back next Monday for a brand new, never before seen, hair-raising tale entitled…THE COLLECTOR. It’s a gas! See you next week.
It came to my attention earlier today that the forms on both the Contact and Store pages have not been working properly. …READ MORE »
Welcome to the beginning of a new era in comics entertainment! Agitainment.Comics is proud to present a brand new tale of horror and suspense that’s guaranteed to knock your socks off (or your money back)! It’s called THE COLLECTOR, and it’s written and illustrated by none other than your very own blushing and bashful Rick Ross. Believe me, it’s going to be a wild one, so buckle up your seatbelts, keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times, and get ready for…THE COLLECTOR!

Be back next Monday for the next installment of…The Collector!
Welcome back to part 3 of The Collector, a little story I’d like to think O’Henry might have enjoyed if comic books were around in his day. Heck, if that were the case, he might have written one or two comics himself.
In any event, if you’re digging the story so far, check out Rick’s Soapbox for some behind the scenes tidbits about some of the inspirations for the story. And for those of you who like to puzzle out what’s going on ahead of time, I’d love to hear where you think the story is going. Feel free to leave comments about this and more in the Mighty Agitainment Forum.
Nevertheless, if you think things are weird now, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. Be back next Monday for part 4 of…The Collector.
I thought you all might be interested in seeing some story development work I did recently. I was really happy with how this particular image turned out, and since it won’t see the light of day otherwise, I’m posting it here for you to enjoy. So…enjoy! …READ MORE »
People sometimes ask me, “Rick, where do you get all your crazy story ideas from?” To be honest, most of the time I have no clue. Usually it’s a random confluence of events and impressions that come together without my knowledge until one day, BOOM!, a story concept just drops into my lap.
There are a few occasions, however, when I can pinpoint the exact moment a story came together and the inspirations that helped usher it along. “The Collector” is one such occasion. …READ MORE »
