DEADTOWN 3-D Motion Comic
Monday, July 27th, 2009You might have noticed that it’s been a couple of weeks since Rick last updated his soapbox. Laziness, you ask? Hardly.
The reason for Rick’s unusual silence has been his incredibly busy schedule as he toiled away to finish a big hush-hush project before the San Diego Comic-Con.
Just what was this super-secret project, you ask? Well, if you happened to miss the 12 Gauge Comics booth while in sunny San Diego, never fear. We can now reveal what had Rick burning the midnight oil for, lo, these last several weeks.
It’s a noir-zombie motion comic called DEADTOWN, and it’s in 3-D. That’s right, folks: 3-D!
Rick did all the pencils and inks for DEADTOWN, and we think it’s some of his best. But don’t take our word for it. Check out a sample above (click on the image to see it larger).
And don’t stop there. You can see it come to life at the M2 website. Just click the video labeled “Deadtown Motion Comic Teaser in 3-D!” and stand back!
It is — and we’re not lying here, folks — a gas!
