Rick Ross is an artist, writer, and filmmaker who began drawing before he could talk and hasn’t stopped since — drawing or talking. At age 9 Rick won his first juried art competition, at 12 published his first newspaper cartoons, at 13 had his first one man show, and at 14 completed his first animated film. Beyond art school and film school, Rick has made cartoons, graphic novels, fine art, and over 20 films. He has published comics in many publications including the series “Urban Monsters” for Image Shadowline, has shown paintings in galleries in North America and Japan, and had his award-winning film “Backslide” shown around the world and broadcast by the Independent Film Channel. Rick lives and works in the Los Angeles area with his wife, Trisha.
